Privacy policy

What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. In plain English.

Last updated: 6 Nov 2026

1. Who we are

Hyronova (formerly DroidNova) runs this website. If you have any question about your information, email us at [email protected].

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. Each of our Android apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its Google Play listing. Hyronova School and Hyronova Library will have their own privacy terms when they launch.

3. What we collect

When you send the contact form: your name, email, and anything else you choose to give us: phone number, organisation, topic and message.

When you visit: like every website, our hosting provider receives technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open. This is used to deliver the site and keep it safe.

Spam check: the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It looks at signals from your browser; it does not ask you to solve puzzles in most cases.

Visit counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.

Your theme choice (dark or light) is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It is never sent to us.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not show ads on this website. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie for security.

5. How we use your information

  • To reply to your message, send a quote or add you to early access.
  • To keep the website working and protect it from spam and attacks.
  • To understand which pages are useful, using visit counts only.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only use these services to run the website:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, security, the spam check and visit counts.
  • Resend: delivers the contact form to our inbox as an email.
  • Zoho Mail: the inbox where we receive and answer your message.

These services may process data outside your country. We may also share information if the law requires it.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to talk with you and for our records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

8. Your choices

You can ask to see the information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] and we will reply as soon as we can.

9. Children

This website is meant for adults: school staff, librarians and businesses. It is not aimed at children.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
